It all started in Finland in 2019.
Two Erasmus students met in the middle of a snowy winter. What everyone thought would be nothing more than an “Erasmus romance” quickly became something much bigger.
We fell in love in Finland, and every day together made the feeling even stronger.
When we said goodbye, we did not know when we’d see each other again or how we could continue this. But we promised to try.
And we did. Every evening we called each other, sharing our days, our dreams, and counting down until we could be together again. Distance only made us stronger.
Eventually, Vavea took the leap and moved to Lithuania, where our real adventure began. Together, we’ve built a life we’re incredibly proud of: our first apartment, summer life in Paris, a move to Vilnius, new careers and adventures. Step by step, we created a life that feels right!
As a little gift from the universe, on the day of our engagement, a little Dalmatian puppy was born. We knew that it was a sign. She came home with us a couple of months later. Just like that, our family became three.
And now, after all these years, we’re so excited for the next chapter.
We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding with the people we love most. We’d love to share our story with you, so come and spend a few days with us. We promise there will be plenty of laughter, good food, unforgettable memories… and, of course, lots of cuddles from our Poppy.
